If It Sounds Too Good to Be True, It Likely Is

This has to do with nearly any online item or deal you find, but if something sounds too good to be true, it’s likely because it is.

Disney Gift Card

For example, if you see a pop-up ad on your computer that says you could get a $100 Disney gift card for $50, or better yet a FREE gift card, that’s likely not true. Clicking on that ad will either ask you for personal information that will be put somewhere you don’t want it, could put a virus on your computer, or worse. So if you’re thinking it sounds a little too fantastic, RUN.

Only Purchase From Reputable Sites

To help avoid the above situation, you’ll want to ensure you’re only purchasing Disney gift cards from reputable sites.

Disney at Target

What do we mean by this? Well, websites you recognize the names of and have been around for quite some time. Some of our personal favorites are Walmart, Amazon, and Target!

Gift Cards at Target

Target is seriously one of our favorite places to grab them, because there are often deals there you won’t find at other stores.

Sam’s Club also has some great deals on Disney Gift Cards as well, so don’t count them out of your search!

Sam’s Club Gift Cards

We know Sam’s Club locations aren’t everywhere around the country, but if you’re near one and you’ve got a membership, it’s certainly something to check on!

If you don’t have a Sam’s Club membership, you can also take a look at Costco, who also often has great deals.

However, Costco doesn’t just only have deals on gift cards, but they also often have deals on Disney World and/or Disneyland tickets as well, or other Disney vacations!

Target Circle Deals

If you’re a member with Target Circle, there’s an extra deal you can take advantage of each time you purchase a gift card. If you’re a Target Circle member, you’ll save 5% on ALL Target purchases, and that includes gift cards!

Stock up on discount Disney Gift Cards!

It’s just one of the reasons we think Target is one of the best places to save a little money on gift cards. 5% may not seem like a lot, and that’s true, but when you were already planning on buying the gift card anyway, why not save a bit on it?

The Disney Website is NOT Where You’ll Want to Purchase Gift Cards

The most trusted place to buy Disney gift cards is, of course, the online Disney Store, or purchasing them in person at the parks. However, if you’re looking for discounted cards, this is NOT the place to go.

Disney Gift Card

Why? Well, Disney very, very rarely has deals on their own gift cards. Yes, they have deals and discounts frequently on their other types of merchandise, but gift cards aren’t often included in those sales. So if you want to be 100% sure your gift card will have no issues and comes straight from the company itself, then go for it! But if you’re looking for a deal, this isn’t the best choice.

They certainly are pretty though!
