Did you know you can do your holiday shopping in 3-D?!
Amazon is, once again, trying to change the way we all do our Christmas shopping this holiday season. However, this newest innovation has nothing to do with Prime shipping or streaming memberships. Instead, it’s all about 3D.
For this Holiday season, Amazon has introduced a new feature: The new 3D Virtual Shop.
Amazon has launched two in fact, each of them allows shoppers to “browse through” shops similar to how they would a physical store.
The first of the two “shops” is like a general shop, featuring everything from electronics to beauty products. You can look “around” the shop on your computer. Once you select a product you want to learn more about, an information window about the precut opens up within the shop.
The second “shop” functions similarly to the first, though it’s geared to one specific type of item: TOYS!
The toy shop once again features clickable items, including some from major brands including Disney.
In addition, there are some adorable whimsical touches that make exploring the digital space fun in addition to being an effective way to shop.
Amazon’s new virtual 3D shopping spaces may prove to be a brand new way to experience holiday shopping.
