Heads up — a Disney Springs store dedicated to a popular franchise is now closed!
There are tons of places to get all kinds of Disney merchandise around Disney Springs. But if you’ve got your heart set on picking up some Star Wars souvenirs, we’ve got an important update you’ll need to know before your next visit!
Located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, Star Wars Trading Post was a spot where you could find all kinds of themed souvenirs, from clothing and accessories to lightsabers and collectibles.
But if you had the Star Wars Trading Post on your itinerary for an upcoming trip to Disney Springs, heads up — the store has now closed! When we stopped by this morning, there were signs on the door saying the store is “currently closed.”
In addition to stating that the Star Wars Trading Post is currently closed, the sign also directs guests to visit the nearby store Once Upon a Toy for galactic supplies.
We also noticed that the Star Wars Trading Post sign has been removed from the storefront. Disney hasn’t announced whether the store closure is temporary or permanent, outside of noting it as “currently closed” on the sign, but we’ll be on the lookout for any additional information about if or when this spot is set to reopen!
We stopped by Once Upon a Toy and confirmed that they do have Star Wars merch in stock, so there are other options close by! Or, guests can also head down to the Star Wars Galactic Outpost in the West Side area of Disney Springs for a whole store dedicated to Star Wars souvenirs.
