We have fantastic news for Star Wars fans!
Building your own Lightsaber in Galaxy’s Edge is a fantastic experience for Star Wars fans, but it’s also wildly expensive. When you make your selections for your Lightsaber, you’ll get to choose what Kyber Crystal you’d like to put inside (which decides your Lightsaber color).
If you’ve been thinking about switching over to the Sith, you can grab the Series 2 Red Kyber Crystal online right now.
This Kyber Crystal can also be used to activate the Sith Holocron (which we’ll get to in a second), the Lightsaber of your choosing that accepts Kyber Crystals or can just be displayed on a shelf.
And yes, the Sith Holocron is available online right now too!
Considering to be one of the most dangerous objects in the galaxy, as it’s considered to hold the key to the dark side, the Red Series 2 Kyber Crystal (sold separately) can activate the Holocron and unlock different sound and light effects.
But the Series 2 Yellow Kyber Crystal is also online for you to consider!
This Kyber Crystal is modeled after those used by the Jedi Temple Guard. It too can be used inside a Holocron and select Lightsabers to activate special lights and sounds.
For example, you can place it inside of the Jedi Holocron!
It’s known to hold the secrets and teachings of the Jedi Order, and can only be opened by those sensitive to the Force. Place a Kyber Crystal inside, and you’ll get to hear different light and sound effects of Jedi voices and Lightsaber battles.
And of course, if you’re looking for a new Lightsaber Blade, the Disney Store has you covered.
Now, this blade doesn’t come with a hilt, which is where Kyber Crystals go, but this blade will work with Savi’s Handbuilt Lightsaber Hilts, which do take Kyber Crystals. However, it also works with Legacy Lightsaber hilts, which have a fixed color and cannot be changed by a Kyber Crystal.
