We can’t WAIT to step foot inside Universal Orlando’s new theme park, Universal Epic Universe.

This park is set to open on May 22nd, 2025, which means we’re just a few months out! And if you’re interested in snagging tickets, they’re on sale starting October 22nd. But what you may not know is that buying tickets for this park is going to be a little…complicated.
The first phase of ticket packages and products for Epic Universe will be released on October 22nd, with more options on the way in the future. However, during this initial phase, the only way for the general public to get entry into Epic Universe is to purchase 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day tickets.

If you’re an Annual Passholder for Universal Orlando, you will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets to Epic Universe before they go on sale to the public. This priority opportunity starts on October 24th.

During the initial phase of ticket sales for the general public, they’re only offering multi-day ticket options, each of which includes ONE day of access to Epic Universe. So if you buy a 3-day ticket, you get one day at Epic Universe and two days at the other Universal Orlando parks. The same goes for the 4-day and 5-day options — offering one day at Epic Universe and three or four days respectively at the other parks.

Universal Orlando has shared that 1-day and 2-day ticket options will be available at a later date before Epic Universe opens. They will also not be offering Florida Resident discount tickets at this time, but those will be an option later down the road (although they don’t specify if that will happen before the park opens or not).

One important thing to note with the multi-day Universal Orlando tickets is that you will NOT have to make a “reservation” to visit Epic Universe. When purchasing your tickets, you’ll simply have to denote which day you’d first like to use your ticket, and then you can use your park days in any order within your ticket use window.

But without reservations, will people be turned away at the gate? Here’s what the Universal Orlando website says about that:
“We plan to manage attendance at Universal Epic Universe to ensure we’re providing the best possible experience for our guests. As part of this process, ticket inventory and capacity will be controlled to allow each guest who purchases an Epic Universe-inclusive ticket to visit the park for one day during the course of the validity window of their ticket.”

As far as pricing goes, CNN reports that 3-day tickets will range from $374.88 to $554.87 (after tax) per person, depending on the date you visit. Express Passes are not available for purchase for Epic Universe at this time, but will be launched at a later date before the park opens. The same goes for VIP Tour Experiences and My Universal Photo products.

So if you want to get your hands on tickets to Epic Universe ASAP, you may want to take advantage of this initial launch…ESPECIALLY if you want to be in the park on opening day. Those tickets may sell out!

We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop as Universal Orlando announces more ticketing options for Epic Universe. Stay tuned to AllEars.

Are you planning on visiting Epic Universe when it opens? Tell us in the comments!
I was planning to attend Orlando in the summer with my family from the uk. We were going to spend two weeks solely at Universal, but hearing the news that we can only visit epic for 1 day, I will be cancelling our plans. It’s not worth it.
I suspect your only option would be to buy two sets of 3-day passes so you could see Epic Universe twice, but you may be spending $1000 or more per person on this (and I don’t know how that compares with the British pound or what kind of deals UK visitors have received from Universal in the past).
