4 Things I’ll Never Wear to Disney World Again

Sometimes what you DON’T wear is just as important as what you do…

Magic Kingdom

Packing for Walt Disney World can be a bit stressful, as there are so many items that it’s important to remember to pack. However, it’s arguably just as important to know what NOT to pack. These are four things we’ll never wear to Disney World again… and what we’d replace them with.

Let’s start with Ear Headbands. While these are arguably the most iconic Disney accessories there is, wearing the “wrong” pair (no matter how adorable their design is) can lead to a massive, uncomfortable headache throughout the day.

How cute are these?!

Our recommendation? Baublebar Ear Headbands. These are some of the Mose comfortable ear headbands there are, and they’re just as adorable as any other — less comfortable — options.

Next, one of our biggest Disney World pet peeves: wet shoes and socks. Seriously, is there anything more gross than needing to trudge through a theme park in wet, slimy socks and sneakers?

Silicone Shoe Covers

What should you do about it? How about trying Silicone Shoe Covers? These covers are made of 100% high-quality, non-toxic silicone rubber and will keep your shoes, socks, and feet nice and dry.

Only slightly behind wet shoes and socks is wet denim, especially denim that is warm in the hot Florida summer.

So what’s a substitute for jean shorts for a fashion-conscious Disney World traveler? These Women’s Mini Tennis Athletic Golf Skorts. This skort is made from “skin friendly Nylon+Spandex material,” that’s soft and flexible to move. It’s got a 4-way stretch, and is nice and breathable, with moisture-wicking fabric.

Finally, as tempting as it can be from a stylistic standpoint, wearing expensive (non-prescription) sunglasses to Disney World is just asking for trouble. They could get lost, or they could fall and break. Yikes!

Amazon

Instead, go for a pair of sunglasses that look expensive and feel high quality but don’t break the bank and can be easily — and cheaply — replaced if lost.

If you’re heading to Disney World anytime soon, we’d definitely recommend avoiding these four items.
