We’re sure you’d agree that if you’re ever unsure of what to watch, Disney+ has got you covered.
With so many titles to choose from, like classic Disney films, nostalgic series, and even popular modern faves, there’s no question why Disney+ is so popular. But what if we told you there are even more reasons to tune in?
Disney+ is rolling out new continuous playlists as part of its core subscription service in the U.S. beginning September 4. And that’s just the beginning—four more themed playlists are dropping later this fall to keep things exciting. This new feature is all about giving subscribers more ways to enjoy Disney+, right in time for new pricing updates coming next month.
Ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election, Disney+ is opening up access to ABC News Live for all subscribers. This is a top-notch, around-the-clock news channel that offers live broadcasts, breaking news, and in-depth specials. But that’s not all—a playlist dedicated to preschool content will be available on Disney+.
This playlist will be loaded with favorites like Sofia the First, The Lion Guard, Puppy Dog Pals, and Minnie’s Bow-Toons. And later in the fall, Premium subscribers will see four more playlists roll out, each offering a unique mix of content that will refresh monthly:
Seasonal Content – a collection of seasonal-themed content from across the Disney+ catalog
Epic Stories – a compilation of action-packed stories from marquee brands and franchises, including Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars
Throwbacks – a destination for nostalgic pop culture content
Real Life – a lineup of traditional documentaries, biopics, and true stories
New subscription prices for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ will be active starting October 17, 2024, for ad-supported and ad-free plans in the U.S. The prices are as follows:
There are so many amazing titles coming to Disney+ this month, including the highly anticipated Marvel series Agatha All Along (based on the same character from WandaVision). The two-episode premiere will be available on the streaming service on September 18th.
There’s always something to watch on Disney+, so stay tuned as we bring you all the latest updates!

I am very upset about not being able to watch abc and ESPN on My directv. This needs to be fixed right away
Blame the satellite companies, both DirecTV and Dish Network. We have had both, and almost all the time there were channels blocked because of contract disputes. We have switched to Hulu+ Live TV, and since Disney owns Hulu, ABC, and ESPN, I have no fears that my college and pro football seasons will be interrupted on those channels!
