Disneyland has made it MUCH easier to change your ticket specifics.
Disney has rolled out a new feature on the Disneyland website that will allow you to upgrade and make other changes to eligible tickets.
The new feature, entitled Change Your Theme Park Tickets, can be found on the Disneyland website as an option in the Disneyland app drop-down menu.
You’ll then be brought to a page where you can select eligible tickets you have to upgrade or change. Options include the ability to upgrade to a higher ticket tier, add days to a ticket, add Genie+, or even upgrade to a Park Hopper so you can move back and forth at will between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. This definitely makes adding these options to your ticket much more convenient, and much less time-consuming than previously.
This new ticketing system update comes during a very busy summer for the Disneyland Resort Pixar Fest is running strong across the resort, including Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular, the Pixar Pals Playtime Party, and Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration. In addition, the resort’s original nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! returned to the Rivers of America following a hiatus that lasted over a year.
If all that summer fun isn’t enough of a draw, Disneyland is also getting a jump on the fall somewhat early. Both Halloween Time and the Plaza de la Familia celebration of the spirit of Día de los Muertos – – the core seasonal fall celebrations at the resort – – return on August 23rd.
