We love Disney’s Hollywood Studios! How about you?!

One of the things we love most about our days at Hollywood Studios is the dining experience. While some restaurants get all the glory, there are a few spots that deserve just as much love. Here are four criminally underrated spots that you should definitely check out on your next visit!
BaseLine Tap House
BaseLine Tap House is the perfect place to kick back and relax! This spot offers a fantastic selection of craft beers and ciders, making it an ideal spot for adults looking to unwind.

Don’t sleep on the snacks here either. The charcuterie board is one of our favorites, and if you pair it with the Bavarian Pretzel and one of the ciders, you’ve got yourself a whole meal. One of the most recent reviews left for the restaurant on our website says:
“The pretzel, charcuterie, and beer selections are all top notch. The price point for the snacks is great too. You get a good bang for your buck, and it is always welcome to have a solid savory snack option a DHS.”
Brown Derby Lounge
If you’re craving the flavors of the Hollywood Brown Derby but want a more casual experience, the Brown Derby Lounge is going to be your new go-to spot. This outdoor lounge allows you to enjoy basically the full menu from the main restaurant without the need for a reservation, thanks to its walk-up waitlist.

While you’re there, you can enjoy items from the menu like the Cobb Salad and Sliders while people-watching in the heart of the park. It’s a sophisticated yet relaxed way to indulge in fine dining at Hollywood Studios. One of the most recent reviews left for the restaurant on our website says:
“If you’re looking for the experience of the Brown Derby restaurant without the added time or reservation, this is the perfect place. They have a great menu, featuring the famous Cobb Salad, with a laid back atmosphere. The drinks are great, the service is great, highly recommend for smaller parties.”

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
Sometimes, all you want is a plate of Italian food without any pomp and frills. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano delivers just that. You’ll find this spot in a quieter corner of the park and it offers classic Italian dishes that just hit the spot.

Not only does Mama Melrose serve up tasty meals, it does so in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect retreat for a peaceful lunch or dinner away from the crowds. One of the most recent reviews left for the restaurant on our website says:
“Freindly and quick service. Cold A/C. Food was much better than expected. Had a wonderful pork chop with polenta and was still able to enjoy the rest of the day in the park. Nice seafood pasta dish as well.”

ABC Commissary
If you’re looking for a quick and convenient option that won’t leave you feeling like you just ate the normal theme park fare (pretzels, churros, etc.), then ABC Commissary is your answer!

This hidden gem has a wide variety of grab-and-go options, it’s all under the cool comfort of air conditioning, and it’s tucked away off the beaten path. It’s a spot that allows you to escape the crowds and refuel without sacrificing valuable park time. One of the most recent reviews left for the restaurant on our website says:
“We had lunch here last week. Used mobile ordering and had virtually no wait. The buffalo chicken grilled cheese was excellent. DD had the mediterranean salad; it was huge and shared between the 3 of us. The side barley salad was a big hit with everyone. Refillable drinks is an added bonus.”
