A NEW Documentary Is Coming To Disney+ in May

Are you ready for some ‘Good Vibrations’ and ‘Fun, Fun, Fun’ on Disney+?


Well, we have some exciting news about a new documentary that is coming to Disney+ this May! While lots is coming to Disney+ in the coming months, we have yet another film to add to our must-watch list.

Disney+ just announced that an all-new documentary film called The Beach Boys will be coming to the streaming service. You will be able to watch this film on May 24th, 2024. 


This documentary will follow the band from their beginnings and will feature brand-new footage and interviews with The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks, and Bruce Johnston.

The movie will also feature interviews with Lindsey Buckingham, Janelle Monáe, Ryan Tedder, Don Was, Carl and Dennis Wilson, Blondie Chaplin, and audio from Ricky Fataar.

A special edition blue and white marble vinyl will be released of the group’s album “Shut Down, Vol.2” on March 29th. You can also purchase the group’s book, “The Beach Boys by The Beach Boys” on April 2nd. On top of that, an official soundtrack will be released for the film on May 24th. 

We can’t wait for Disney+’s newest documentary!

Disney+ recently saw huge success with Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Film and we are excited to see that they will continue to add new music content. We can’t wait to get an exclusive look at The Beach Boys in May.


While you are waiting for the premiere of this new documentary, you may notice that Disney+ is looking a bit different. If you subscribe to both Hulu and Disney+, a new feature just rolled out allowing you to watch both streaming services on the Disney+ app.
