Planning a trip to Universal Orlando? We’ve got some tips for you!

We’ve been to Universal Orlando hundreds of times, and throughout those visits, we’ve learned how to do the parks efficiently. Using Express Pass can be one of the biggest time-savers, as well as getting to the park before it opens. But if you’re among a select group of people, you can start your day earlier than everyone else!
One of the big benefits of staying at a Universal Orlando hotel is that you’ll get Early Park Admission. This perk will allow you to enter at least one of the parks up to one hour early.

During that time (which is usually a one-hour period for the dry parks and a 30-minute period for Volcano Bay), you’ll be able to access select attractions in the park. Since Early Park Admission is limited, your wait time will likely be much lower for those attractions than it will be later in the day!

But if you don’t stay on-site, do you have hope of making the most of your morning? YES, actually! A little-known secret is that a second group of people have access to Early Park Admission — those who aren’t staying on-site, but who purchased their tickets through a Universal Preferred Travel Agent.

Our friends over at MEI Travel fall into this group! If you purchase your tickets through one of their agents, you’ll get access to Early Park Admission for your Universal Orlando vacation, even if you don’t have a Universal hotel booked.

That hour extra is enough time to get one or two of the more popular rides done, such as Harry Potter Escape from Gringotts or Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. And it’s a great time to just enjoy the park with fewer people inside!

So the next time you venture to Universal Orlando, keep this tip in mind! We recommend booking your trip with MEI Travel to get expert help with planning an awesome vacation.
