2024 seems to be THE YEAR for video game and theme park collaborations.
We learned that Disney would be partnering with EPIC Games, the creators of Fortnite, to create an online Disney experience that includes entertainment, shopping, gaming, and more. We had a feeling that Universal Studios would also be partnering with a video game platform — Minecraft. Universal was leaving all sorts of cryptic posts using words like “block” and “craft,” and we just KNEW it was a Minecraft collaboration.

Universal says, ” It’s finally time to open the blocky gates to the all-new Universal Studios Experience DLC! A wild Minecraft adventure map that combines legendary attractions and experiences inspired by Universal Destinations & Experiences around the world, but also throughout the theme parks’ history!”
Yes, a virtual experience combining the Universal Parks and Minecraft is coming SOON to Windows, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Fire OS/TV, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, and Samsung Gear VR.
You’ll find adventures themed to Jaws, Jurassic Park, E.T., and MORE!
The Universal Studios Experience is available to purchase and play NOW on Minecraft’s website.
