Sometimes even your best-laid plans might need some tweaking

When you’re working on your plans for your upcoming Disney World trip, there are so many things to consider like food and hotels. But that’s why we’re here. We want to make sure that you’re aware of some of the sneaky changes that Disney World makes so that you’re not caught off guard!
Let’s dive right in!
Annual Price Hikes (Even on the churros)
We’ve all been feeling the pinch lately with the cost of, well, everything being on the rise. So it should come as no surprise that you’ll also feel it at Disney World, especially when it comes to dining.

They have a habit of raising prices annually, which means your favorite Mickey Premium Bar might come at a slightly higher price tag on your next visit. Keep it in mind when you’re working on your budget for the next Disney World trip.
The Disney Dining Plan (Even More Changes Ahead)
We know you’re excited about the Disney Dining Plan coming back in 2024 (we are too!), but let’s talk about a new change to the new plan before it catches you off guard. Remember how in the past, you could swap your credits between meals and snacks? Well, Disney put their foot down on that.

In the new dining plan, meal credits can only be used for meals, and snack credits exclusively for snacks. Meaning, it’s a hard no on swapping credits. Keep this in mind because it definitely could impact your dining strategy. Plan accordingly and make the most out of those credits!
Fireworks and Parade Times (They Can Be Unpredictable)
Picture this: you’re getting ready for those spectacular fireworks, and then BAM! Disney decides to switch up the timing. Sometimes the fireworks have been at 9, and other times at 9:15.

What about the parades? Sometimes they’ll take to the streets at 3 PM, or 12 PM & 3 PM on different days. Keep an eye on the schedule because, in the world of Disney, timing is everything.
Park Opening and Closing Times
Ready for a curveball? Park opening and closing times can change, sometimes even last minute!

Don’t be surprised if your perfectly planned day suddenly needs a major revision. Keep an eye on the schedule, check for updates, and stay flexible and ready to adjust your plans accordingly to make the most of your days at the parks.
