Happy Holidays from Universal Orlando!
Or should we say unhappy holidays? That’s right, it’s Grinchmas! With all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays at the Disney parks, it’s time to take a short ride over to Universal Studios and meet up with our favorite holiday cheer meister, the Grinch!
You’ll be able to find the Grinch over at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, where he has taken over! This year, we were able to meet him during a special sneak peek of the holiday offerings.

We have to mention first that Max, the Grinch’s dog sidekick, had a LOT to say about Christmas!
And the Grinch cracked us up per usual — we love getting to interact with him!
Throughout Grinchmas, you can look out for the resident Whos in Seuss Landing, watch The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular live show, and meet the Grinch for a photo opportunity. Be sure to check the meet-and-greet times during your visit — they’re subject to change!
We love every moment we get with the Grinch, even if he isn’t so fond of us. What they say is true; he is as cuddly as a cactus and as charming as an eel… but that won’t stop us from wanting to meet him (and maybe bring him an onion or two!). Grinchmas is happening now through December 31st, 2023.Â
