NEWS: Dates and Performers Announced for Disney’s Holiday TV Specials!

While the Disney Parks are, in our opinion, the most MAGICAL place to spend the holiday season, there are still ways to experience all that magic in the comfort of your own home.

Making Disney-inspired holiday treats (HELLO, GINGERBREAD SAMMIES!), decorating your home with some magical touches, and of course — watching the Disney holiday specials on TV. If you’re curious on how you can tune in this year and what you can expect to see, just keep on reading!

This year, Disney’s holiday specials include “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” on ABC, and the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” on ABC — both of which were filmed at Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, and the Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship. YAY! We actually SAW some of the filming take place at Disney World, so we’re extra excited to see the specials.

You can catch “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” on ABC on Sunday, November 26th, from 8 to 10PM EST. You’ll be able to stream it the next day on Disney+ and Hulu as well. Derek and Julianne Hough will be joined by country music star Mickey Guyton and “The Golden Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer. This is the special’s 40th anniversary, so we have a feeling it’s going to be extra magical!

Here’s the show’s lineup:

• Derek Hough and Julianne Hough – “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” “What Christmas Means to Me,” “Dance to the Music” medley
• Michael Bolton & Mickey Guyton – “Christmas Isn’t Christmas”
• Andra Day and Adam Blackstone – “Someday at Christmas” and an Adam Blackstone original song “Legacy Christmastime”
• Mickey Guyton – “Jingle Bell Rock”
• Chris Janson – “Holiday Road”
• Tori Kelly “This Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland”
• Chrissy Metz – “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”
• The Smashing Pumpkins – “Silver Bells”
• Robin Thicke – “Let it Snow” and “Perfect Holiday”
• Iam Tongi – “White Christmas”

This year’s Christmas Day Parade was filmed at Disney World, and you can catch it on December 25th from 10AM to 12PM EST. The lineup for this show will include the following:

• Derek Hough and Julianne Hough – “Good Morning” and “Deck the Halls” Medley
• Ariana DeBose – “This Wish” from Disney’s “Wish”
• Chrissy Metz – “Silver Bells”
• The Smashing Pumpkins – “Evergreen” (A new, original holiday song!)
• Iam Tongi – “Mele Kalikimaka”
• The Cast of Disney’s “Aladdin” on Broadway – “Friend Like Me”
