EPCOT Debuts NEW Park Map With Big Changes!

Disney World is constantly changing…but EPCOT has seen a major overhaul!

If you’ve been to EPCOT in the last few years then you know one thing is true. Walls. Are. EVERYWHERE. That’s because the park has been under a huge transformation adding new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Now, it’s time for a brand new EPCOT attraction to open and the park map has changed along with it!

As of October 16th, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana has officially opened! That’s why the front cover has been changed from Spaceship Earth to Te Fiti from the attraction.

In the Magic of Possibility section, there is a note about Journey of Water being a new attraction.

Regarding the map itself, the biggest change here is obviously the addition of Journey of Water!

Soarin’ Around the World has been changed to just “Soarin'” — currently, the Soarin’ Over California version has returned to the park. Disney has not announced how long this version will stay, but the map is general enough that they won’t have to change it when the ride changes again.

Another big change here is that Swirled Showcase, which is currently a booth at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, is listed as a dining location for World Showcase. This booth is also set to be an EPCOT Festival of the Holidays booth, but it may actually be a permanent dining location!
