As we near the end of 2023, Disney World is only going to get busier and busier.

Recently we’ve seen crowds in EPCOT for the soft opening of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana and park passes sold out on a random October day earlier in the month. But now, another very busy Disney World day is on the horizon.
When looking at the Annual Passholder park pass calendar, we noticed that one park was unavailable on October 16th — Magic Kingdom!

You may be wondering, why October 16th? Well, that day is the official 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company. Disney World has not announced anything specific for the parks on the 16th, but they may choose to make it a surprise.
Since park passes are selling out, expect Magic Kingdom to be crowded on Monday. Take a look at some of our favorite tips for handling the crowds!

The biggest thing that has been announced on this day is over in EPCOT with the official opening for Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. Tickets are still available for every ticket type in EPCOT that day.
Park pass availability changes all of the time, so if you’re a Passholder hoping to visit Magic Kingdom on Monday, keep checking back. It may just pop up!

Park passes are going away for many ticket types, however, they will still be used for Annual Passholders. However, Passholders and Cast Members are getting “Good to Go Days” starting in January which will allow them to enter the parks on certain days without a park pass.
