The price of Disney World’s Genie+ can fluctuate, depending on the park and the day.

However, generally speaking, the cost of Genie+ goes up when there’s more demand for it. This means that when crowds are expected in Disney World, you’ll pay more to skip the standby line for rides. Well, it looks like Disney World is expecting some crowds this weekend because the price of Genie+ has gone up.
Disney Genie+ is a paid service that lets you skip the standby line for select rides to access those rides’ lightning lanes, meaning you spend less time waiting in line for attractions. You can buy it for an individual park or get it for multiple parks.Â

The price of Genie+ is different for each park, with Magic Kingdom generally being the most expensive, followed by Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom. Recently, the price of Genie+ has been pretty steady at $23 for the multi-park and Magic Kingdom options. Now, today, on October 7th, the price of Genie+ is $25 for the multi-park option, $25 for Magic Kingdom, $22 for Hollywood Studios, $18 for EPCOT, and $16 for Animal Kingdom.

This is the highest we’ve seen the price since early September. These higher prices mean that we can expect to see some heftier crowds in Disney World this weekend.
We also noticed that some Individual Lightning Lane options have increased in price. As of today, TRON Lightcycle / Run is $20, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is $11, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is $15, Rise of the Resistance is $22, and Flight of Passage is $14. For some of these rides, these are also the highest prices we’ve seen for the attractions since early September.

We could expect to continue to see higher prices as we get closer to the holiday season, but we’ll be keeping an eye on it to keep you updated. So check back with AllEars again soon.
