These statues quickly became park icons for many guests and made for great photo ops and scavenger hunts alike! Plus, those with a MagicBand+ could even interact with the statues. At the end of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, Disney fans began to wonder what would become of the statues that we had all fallen in love with. Well, Disney just shared our answer.

We will no longer be calling them the “50th Anniversary statues.” Henceforth and forevermore, we will simply call them the gold statues!

Why? Well, Disney just shared that Imagineers have been making rounds to each of the statues to add some pixie dust to make them TIMELESS!

So, basically, the 50th logo is probably being removed so that the statues can simply be without necessarily commemorating the celebration.

Hi, Olaf!

And yes, you can still interact with each of them like before!

You’ll still be able to interact with them!
