ALERT! Disney Fireworks Changes Are Coming This Week!

The Disney parks are home to some of the best fireworks shows EVER. Seriously, they put any 4th of July fireworks show we’ve seen to shame.

One of Disney’s newest nighttime spectaculars is over at Disneyland Resort and it’s called Wondrous Journeys. It debuted in early 2023 to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary…but that’s all about to change!

Disney previously announced that Wondrous Journeys would play its last show on August 31st. It is unclear if the show will return, but Disney did note this is the last show “for this year”.

So what will you be able to watch at night instead? Well, Disneyland is bringing back the Halloween Screams fireworks show starting on September 1st. It’s important to note that Disneyland only does fireworks with the show on certain days — on other days, the show will go on with just the projections. Be sure to check the Disneyland app on the day you visit to see which version of the show will occur.

Halloween Screams features Jack Skellington and Zero with some visits from Disney villains. You’re bound to hear some of the best spooky Disney music, too! As far out as the calendar goes at this time, the show is set to happen at 9:30PM each night. The show is set to run through October 31st.

After the Halloween season, the holiday season will be upon us and the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular is set to return to Disneyland from November 10th, 2023 to January 7th, 2024. But more on that later!
