The Magic Kingdom Rides That CHANGE for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

From August 11th to November 1st, Halloween takes over Magic Kingdom on select nights through Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

Main Street, U.S.A.

With the party comes complimentary trick-or-treating, rare character interactions, the famous Boo to You Parade, and so much more. One of the best perks about the party is that wait times for rides are much shorter since tickets are limited at each event. While this is exciting on its own, there is even more to be excited about when it comes to rides.

During the Halloween party, some rides get a special overlay that is exclusive to the event!

Starting at Mad Tea Party, partygoers are treated to special lighting and music for the Halloween season!

Space Mountain also has special lighting and music during the party. When we stopped by, the ride was down for technical difficulties, however, we confirmed with a Cast Member that it is a “deep space” version with pitch-black lighting and spooky music and sounds.

A fan favorite is over at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, where you’ll get some jokes themed around spooky season! You can also see that the show’s background has a bunch of Halloween candy on it.

This is also a spot where you can grab some candy!

Our favorite overlay is typically over at Pirates of the Caribbean…but we have some bad news. The usual pirates who are roaming the queue and the ride are NOT a part of this year’s party!

There are other ways to get your pirate fix — new this year, there is a pirate band outside of the attraction to entertain you. You’ll also see some fun lighting outside!

Those are all of the overlays you’ll see at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! We’re covering everything there is to do, see, and eat at the event, so keep following AllEars for the best coverage.
