Mickey and Minnie Will Look DIFFERENT in the Disney Parks This Year

The weather is warm, school is out, so naturally it’s time to think about…the holidays?

Believe it or not, Disney is already getting ready to make announcements about the holiday season. We’ve already learned about Oogie Boogie Bash returning to Disneyland for Halloween time, but after what felt like a big social media prank, Disney is making some winter holiday announcements!

These announcements take us over to Disneyland Resort in California. If you are planning a Disneyland trip this holiday season, you can expect Mickey and Minnie to look a little different!

That’s right — Mickey and Minnie will debut brand new outfits during the holidays this year! Take a look at the new looks below.

These are mid-century modern inspired looks that the beloved characters will wear in Disneyland park. They look very festive in their red and green, but have a fun spin with the pastel colors and prints. Disney says these looks “include snowy sparkle” and they both will have matching holly brooches.

That’s not the only exciting holiday news of the day — Disney also just confirmed that the holiday overlay is returning to “it’s a small world” in 2023!
