Where are our coaster fans at?!

If you find yourself always gravitating toward coasters in theme parks (like many of our team members here at AllEars) we’ve got some news for you. TRON Lightcycle / Run opened at Disney World back in April, but now another big coaster has opened in the Orlando area!

Pipeline: The Surf Coaster is a brand new coaster at SeaWorld Orlando and is a stand-up rollercoaster that looks like guests are riding…you guessed it — a surfboard.

The coaster started previews on May 12th, but the coaster officially opened on May 27th. The wait times in the afternoon on its opening day were only 30 minutes, so you probably won’t have to wait too long. The coaster also has a 54 inch height requirement.

The ride vehicle for Pipeline: The Surf Coaster was unveiled at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando — a gathering of attractions industry pros from around the globe.

In other coaster news, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster finally reopened after a lengthy refurbishment. There was no set reopening date, so the reopening was quite the surprise!
