WATCH OUT for This Genie+ PROBLEM in Disney World

If you needed proof that Disney World is BUSY today, we’ve got it!

Magic Kingdom crowds

Disney Genie+ is the new(ish) way to skip the lines at certain Disney World attractions. Unlike FastPass+ (the old system), Genie+ costs extra. The price ranges from $15 to $29 per person, per day, depending on the time of year and crowd levels in the parks. Not only was Genie+ at the very top of that range today, but it actually SOLD OUT completely!

Genie+ can sell out in Disney World, although it doesn’t happen very often. The first time we saw this happen was back in February of this year, although it sold out in Disneyland earlier, towards the end of 2022.

This morning, we checked the My Disney Experience app and saw that Genie+ was priced at $29 per person, per day — the highest we’ve seen at Disney World.

Then, later in the day, around 3PM EST, Genie+ completely sold out. The My Disney Experience app stated that “Purchase of Disney Genie+ Service is no longer offered for today.”

We’re right in the middle of Spring Break season right now, which means that there are a LOT of people traveling to Disney World for vacations.

Early morning rope dropping crowds!

In fact, when we checked Park Pass Reservation availability, we saw that Magic Kingdom is sold out for today, tomorrow, and Friday. Disney’s Hollywood Studios was also sold out for today.

If you’re visiting Disney World soon, make sure you get those park passes ASAP! And you may want to consider purchasing Disney Genie+ in order to avoid long waits in standby lines — just be sure to buy it early in the day, in case it sells out again.
