NEWS: Hong Kong Disneyland Lifts Mask Mandate After 3 Years

Now might be the perfect time to plan a trip! There are a ton of exciting new experiences coming to parks around the world, like the new Frozen-themed land coming to Hong Kong Disneyland. Not only that, but Hong Kong Disneyland just made a major update to how guests visit the parks and we’re sharing all the details!

After nearly three full years, Hong Kong has ended its mask mandate implemented during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Per the Wall Street Journal, masks are no longer required indoors, outdoors, or on public transportation.

Hong Kong’s Chief Executive John Lee shared, “The Covid epidemic in Hong Kong is under control with no sign of a big rebound.”

It looks like Hong Kong Disneyland has followed suit. The website now states, “Wearing face mask is optional for guests and cast members across the resort.” You can read the full updated Health and Safety Measures below:

Hong Kong Disneyland most recently reopened on April 21st, 2022, but opened with a mask requirement based on the city’s required health and safety guidelines. Now, guests will no longer be required to wear masks in the parks and resorts.
