Sneak Peek at the World's First 'Jumanji' Themed Coaster

We just caught word of a WILD new coaster coming to The World of Jumanji at Chessington World of Adventures — and it’s the first of its kind!

Of course, it’s a Jumanji coaster, and it is set to arrive this spring to the UK theme park.

Mandrill Mayhem, the all new Jumanji coaster, will accompany the arrival of two more coasters to World of Jumanji, as well as a maze, Jumanji-themed food and drink, merchandise, and hotel rooms.

This “winged, launch, shuttle ride with an inversion” will be the first new attraction to arrive at the theme park since 2004, and will take riders around the world of Jumanji in the arms of a mandrill.

Watch out, though! The mandrills have been described as “unpredictable” creatures and will pummel through the treetops, flipping upside down, and falling — both forward AND backwards!

On top of this coaster, there will be two other attractions called Mamba Strike and the Ostrich Stampede.

This new coaster and land seem like tons of fun, so if you’re visiting the UK, be sure to check this out when it opens! There is currently no exact opening date, but we can expect the land to open this spring.
