Disney World Released All the Prices and Dates for 2023 After Hours Events

Have you ever wanted to see what the Disney World parks were like AFTER they closed to regular guests?

EPCOT at night

Sure, a visit to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will let you stay late, but those are pretty popular events. You could also stay at a Deluxe Resort and get Extended Evening Hours, but that usually only lasts two hours. One of the most unique ways to check out the parks late at night is with the After Hours events…and they’re coming back!

Disney announced that After Hours events are coming back to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios in January 2023, and the 3-hour event is going to be a big deal for guests who want low crowds and low wait times during their visit. You can purchase tickets to attend on select nights between January 4th and April 19th.

At Magic Kingdom, the event takes place from 10PM-1AM on the listed nights. At Hollywood Studios, it runs from 9:30PM-12:30AM. If you have an After Hours ticket but not a day ticket for the park, you can enter the park as early as 7PM.

Disney World hotel guests can begin purchasing After Hours tickets on October 4th, 2022. Guests staying off-property can purchase starting on October 7th.

Keep in mind that guests of After Hours events will have access to a select number of rides and attractions throughout the evening. Attendance is limited, so tickets may sell out, but it should help keep the wait times low for those who pay to attend. After Hours guests also get complimentary bottled soft drinks and water, as well as some ice cream novelties and popcorn.

These events are similar to the holiday and Halloween After Hours events that Disney World hosted in 2021, except without the holiday-specific entertainment. If you’re a night owl, this might be the perfect adventure during your trip!

  1. I remember staying at Disney world until 1am just a regular pass holder. Sad now its just another way to earn them lots if money. I would be ok with it if they gave more money to employees.
