There are a TON of things happening in Disney World this October!

EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is going on, there are all kinds of Halloween decorations, merchandise, food, and you can even go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. So, Disney World might be pretty busy during the month, so here’s why you should go ahead and book your Park Pass Reservations for October RIGHT NOW!
There are a bunch of Park Pass Reservations open for Disney World at the moment, and it might not last long. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a lot of parks book up, like Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom, but right now, there’s a lot of availability again.
Here’s what it looked like on August 31st…

…and here’s what it looks like right now! The only day that is yellow is October 10th, and it’s because Hollywood Studios is booked up.

This is the same for people staying at select hotel rooms.

And, Annual Passholders have complete availability, unless they are already blocked out from certain dates due to the type of pass they have.

So, this is the time to grab your tickets and make those Park Pass Reservations, because October is a popular month. We’d especially recommend grabbing a reservation for October 1st in EPCOT, because it’s the 40th anniversary of the park, and there are bound to be some special celebrations.

Another date we wouldn’t wait on is October 31st, Halloween! We usually see Magic Kingdom book up first, so keep that in mind. Also note that there IS a Halloween party on the 31st, so Magic Kingdom will be closing early to guests without a ticket specifically to the party.

Remember, you have to have both a theme park ticket and a Park Pass Reservation to get into the park you want to visit. You can book your reservation as soon as you buy your tickets.
If you can’t get the reservation you want, it’s better to have a reservation for a different park than none at all. You can always switch it later on if more availability opens up, or you could park hop over to the park you want after 2PM if you have a park hopper ticket.
