If you thought all the D23 Expo announcements had been made, we have more for you!
The 2022 convention is around the corner, taking place September 9th-11th in Anaheim. Tickets for the event sold out a few weeks ago, but if you didn’t get yours, don’t worry! You can experience some of the events from home, and we’ll be keeping you updated on all that’s happening. If you’re a gamer as well as a Disney fan, you’ll love this latest announcement — a Games Showcase will be live at the event!
The Disney X Marvel Games Showcase will take place on the Premiere Stage on September 9th at 1PM PST/4PM EST. If you’re watching from home, no problem — the whole showcase is a live-streamed event hosted by Kinda Funny’s Blessing Adeoye Jr.
The digital showcase will feature new content from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Games. In addition to all-new announcements, fans can expect new reveals from multiple new titles, and a sneak peek at an upcoming Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media.
Guests at the event will see a presentation following the live stream with developer interviews, special guests, and exclusive giveaways. If you’re watching from home, you can see the live stream via D23Expo.com, @DisneyD23 on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, Disney on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, and Marvel Entertainment on YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, and Facebook.
Attendees can also visit Aniplex’s Disney Twisted-Wonderland booth to learn more about the anime-style game inspired by Disney Villains, discover the different dorms of Night Raven College with a fun photo opportunity, and see Twisted-Wonderland characters at the Infinity Cube. Everyone who visits the Disney Twisted-Wonderland booth will receive a hand-fan featuring Grim, a cat-like monster who aspires to be a great mage and your roommate in the game, while supplies last.
There are so many panels and presentations to explore at the D23 Expo, so be sure to download the app to create your schedule and use the virtual queues and mobile checkouts that will be in use at the Expo’s shops.
