Ads Are Coming to Disney+
Disney announced that they will begin offering an ad-supported subscription to Disney+ in late 2022. The option will first launch in the U.S. this year and will then expand internationally sometime in 2023.

Disney will announce an official launch date, pricing, and additional details at a later date.

Casting News
First, let’s talk about the casting and hiring updates for new shows and movies! Two actors have been added to the cast of Under Wraps 2, coming to Disney+ and Disney Channel. According to Deadline, Claude Knowlton and Antonio Cayonne will both have supporting roles in the film.

And if you’ve been getting excited for The Santa Clause series starring Tim Allen, then you’ll be happy to know that the show now has an executive producer and director! According to Deadline, Jason Winer has taken on the role.

And speaking of The Santa Clause, Variety reports that Kal Penn has joined the cast of the show. Penn will be playing the role of Simon Choksi, an “ambitious game inventor and product developer, and a devoted single father.” He dreams of being a tech mogul, but he falls short of his goals. However, all that changes with a visit to the North Pole!
