We are sad to report that Gaspard Ulliel, who stars in Marvel’s upcoming Moon Knight series, has passed away.
Ulliel passed away Wednesday after a skiing accident, as reported by AP News. He was 37 years old.
Gaspard Ulliel was a two-time Cesar-winning (the national film award of France) French actor who suffered a head injury while skiing in the Savoie region of the Alps. He was taken by helicopter to a hospital, but he did not recover.
Ulliel is known for his roles of young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising and as Yves Saint Laurent in Saint Laurent, as well as for being the face of the Chanel men’s fragrance, Blue de Chanel. He plays the character of Midnight Man in Moon Knight, which will be released on Disney+ on March 30th.
Our thoughts are with Gaspard Ulliel’s family and loved ones at this time. He will be deeply missed.
