A Fan-Favorite Ride Has Reached a MAJOR Milestone in Universal Studios Orlando!

If you’re visiting Orlando and looking for a theme park with thrill rides, many people will likely tell you to skip Walt Disney World and head to Universal Orlando Resort instead.

Universal Orlando

That’s because you can find a ton of high-speed roller coasters, 3D attractions, and more inside both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. With rides like the new VelociCoaster, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, Escape from Gringotts, and more, thrill-seekers have been coming to the park for years. So many years, in fact, that one of the top-rated roller coasters has reached a HUGE milestone!

According to Universal Orlando Resort, 100 million riders have been on Revenge of the Mummy and “forfeited their souls.” That’s a lot of people!

Revenge of the Mummy

The attraction has been operating in Universal Studios since 2004 and has ranked among AllEars readers as one the best attractions in the park for many years now.

If you’ve never been on the attraction, it is a dark roller coaster based on the Mummy films that takes riders on a high-speed ride accompanied by pyrotechnics and smoke. And, it even goes backward at one point in a last-ditch attempt to escape the mummy’s curse.

Revenge of the Mummy

So are you 1 of the 100 million people that have ridden Revenge of the Mummy over the past 17 years? If not, be sure to hop on the ride the next time you’re in Universal Studios to test your luck in escaping the curse! And, stay tuned to AllEars for more of the latest theme park news and updates!
