From Marvel shows and cartoons to the latest episodes of your favorite tv programming, there are lots of things to watch on Hulu.

If you’re looking for live TV programming though, you’ll want Hulu + Live TV, which gives you access to the Hulu streaming library PLUS select live channels. But, Hulu + Live TV subscriptions are about to see a price increase!
According to an update posted to the Hulu + Live website, there are currently 2 Hulu + Live TV subscriptions. There is one that includes ads for $64.99 and one that is ad-free for $70.99. But, those prices are about to go UP.

On December 21st, 2021, the prices will increase as follows:
- Hulu + Live TV (with ads) will go from $64.99 to $69.99 per month
- Hulu + Live TV (no ads) will go from $70.99 to $75.99 per month

But, those price increases will come with a pretty good benefit. According to Deadline, Disney is offering Hulu + Live TV subscribers access to Disney+ and ESPN+ for FREE. So, Hulu + Live TV subscribers will essentially become subscribers to the Disney bundle automatically — Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+.
That actually works out to a bit of a cost benefit for current bundle subscribers considering the added services. Currently, the Hulu + Live TV Disney bundle is priced at $72.99 per month (with ads) and $78.99 per month without ads.

According to Deadline, Hulu + Live TV ranks as the 5th-largest pay-TV operator in the US. The service has over 70 live TV channels and more than 100,000 on-demands TV show episodes and movies.
Deadline notes that this price increase follows one phased in about a year ago by Hulu. Disney cited this price increase as a source of direct-to-consumer revenue, though it did result in some “short-term subscriber erosion.”

So, if you’re a Hulu + Live TV subscriber, be prepared for that price increase, and the opportunity to obtain some new benefits with it (if you weren’t already a Disney bundle subscriber). We’ll keep an eye out for more updates and let you know what we find.
