PHOTOS & VIDEOS: A Classic Form of Disney Transportation Returns to Magic Kingdom!

Happy holidays everyone! The yuletide season is in full swing in Disney World, with decorations beginning to appear all over the parks and resorts.

Happy holidays from Main Street!

Today, Disney gave us an early holiday present with the return of a Main Street, U.S.A. classic.

This morning, we spotted the Main Street Transportation Omnibus transporting guests at Magic Kingdom! It’s been a long time since the Omnibus has taken people up and down Main Street and it’s a welcome sight.

The Omnibus is a unique way to see the front of Magic Kingdom and a great way to enjoy some shade and sit for a moment.

Hop on for a ride!

The jitneys are also out, and today we got to ride on one!

The only Main Street Vehicle that is currently unavailable is the fire truck, but Cast Members hope it will be up and running soon! We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news, so stay tuned here for more.

  1. Excellent news! A touch more of the Disney guest experience flavor returns. Also means that a few more cast members were probably rehired hired and working again. Or someone new got a new job, either way is good.
