PHOTOS: Disney World’s Entrance Signs Have Received a 50th Anniversary Makeover!

Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is coming up fast, and all of the parks are getting ready with decorations, merchandise, and preparations for new shows.

But, while most of the decorations we’ve spotted require a park ticket to be seen, this morning, we found some NEW 50th Anniversary decorations. And, they’re the first ones you’ll see as you’re driving in!

Disney World’s entrance archway is one of the most exciting sights because it means your vacation has officially begun. And, now there are TWO brand new additions to the signs for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!

On either side of the archway, there’s a new “50” medallion in honor of the big anniversary.

The medallions have a gold border, oversized numbers, and star decorations set against the EARidescent background of purple, blue, and pink pastels that we’ve seen on a lot of 50th Anniversary decorations.

Earlier this year, Disney painted all of the entrance signs with the new blue and yellow color palette, and it looks like these medallions are the final touch in the transformation!
