Disney in Talks to Develop Age-Restricted Community in Orlando

Although there is a lot of excitement IN the theme parks, there are also some exciting projects happening around Disney World!

Magic Kingdom

Disney is relocating thousands of California employees to the new campus in the Lake Nona community in Orlando (after it was rumored earlier this year), which could give Disney major tax breaks. But now, there’s another project in the works at Lake Nona!

According to the Orlando Business Journal, another deal is in the works between developer Tavistock and the Walt Disney Company. This project could become an age-restricted community in Orlando’s Lake Nona area.

It would be part of the 27,000-acre Sunbridge area, however Disney and Tavistock have not released any details on the size or construction timeline of this project.

Although this project isn’t set in stone, we’ll keep an eye out for confirmation on this project. We’ll continue to keep you updated as Disney and Tavistock release more information!
