NEWS: Los Angeles County Approves Vaccine Mandate for Indoor Locations

Health and safety measures have continued to change around the country.

Disney World and Disneyland now require guests to wear masks at indoor locations and on attractions again, and Broadway will require audience members to wear masks and show proof of vaccination. However, there has been a health and safety update in Los Angeles county (which is where Universal Hollywood is located).

New York City recently started requiring vaccinations in many indoor venues. According to The Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles County is going down a similar path.

The Los Angeles City Council approved a motion to require people to present their vaccination status when entering public indoor areas. The vote on this matter was unanimous with 13-0. The plan regarding where this would apply and how the rules would be enforced is still being worked on. Once a plan is drafted, it will go back to the City Council where a final decision will be made.

Updated Mask Policy

This would require people to have at least one dose of the vaccine before entering places like bars, indoor restaurants, shops, movie theaters, gyms, and other venues.
