Disney World Extends Park Hours for Early Fall

We’ve been keeping a close eye on Disney World park hours lately.

We’ve seen Disney World adjusting park reservation capacities and park hours, and now it seems that they have changed more park hours for the upcoming months of August, September, and October! Let’s take a look.

First, we found that Disney has listed park hours through October 9th. If you’re planning a trip for Disney World’s 50th anniversary, take note! At Magic Kingdom, the park hours will be 9 AM to 9 PM from October 1st through the 4th and then again from October 6th, 7th, and 9th. Magic Kingdom’s hours will be 9 AM to 8:30 PM on October 5th and 8th due to BOO Bash.

And in EPCOT, the park hours will be 11 AM to 9 PM from October 1st through October 9th.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios hours will vary depending on the day, with hours from 9 AM to 9 PM from October 1st through 5th, then an earlier closing time with hours from 9 AM to 8 PM on the 6th. The park will return to the hours of 9 AM to 9 PM from October 7th through the 9th.

In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the park hours will be 8 AM to 7 PM from October 1st through the 9th.

From October 1st through the 9th, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park hours will be 11 AM through 6 PM.

At Disney Springs, the weekends of October 1st through 2nd and October 8th through 9th hours will be 10 AM to 11:30 PM, and the days of October 3rd through 7th will be 10 AM to 11 PM.

When we looked back at August hours, we noticed that some Magic Kingdom hours had changed, with earlier opening times at 8 AM from August 2nd through 7th, and again on the 13th and 14th.

And in September, EPCOT has a few extended closing times, closing at 10 PM on September 3rd through the 5th, and again from the 10th to the 11th.

There are more 10 PM closings for EPCOT on September 12th, the 17th through the 19th, and again from the 24th through the 25th. That gives you extra time to enjoy the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!
