It’s a big day for Disney World’s BoardWalk Inn!

After several months of only offering Disney Vacation Club rooms, the resort has fully reopened! We’re here to give you a look at what it looks like now.
Check-In and Lobby
As of today, July 2nd, The BoardWalk Inn is now officially reopened to the general public!

When we walked in, it looked the same as usual! Since it has been available to DVC guests for a while now, not much has changed. Remember, masks are optional indoors for fully vaccinated guests in Disney World.

The standard rooms are now open in addition to the DVC villas and reservations are open to the public.
Dining
There is so much good food around the BoardWalk Inn! Whether you’re looking for a sweet treat on-the-go or a table-service restaurant, you have your pick of options.

If you want something quick, the BoardWalk Bakery, BoardWalk Ice Cream, BoardWalk Joe’s or BoardWalk Pizza Window!

If you’re looking for a table-service restaurant, you could try Big River Grille, or Trattoria al Forno.

All of the diverse nearby food options are a huge benefit of staying at the BoardWalk Inn!
Shopping
The Screen Door General Store is open and has many things you may need during your stay as well as plenty of Disney merch.
Check out Screen Door if you find yourself wanting to shop on the BoardWalk.
Pools
The Luna Park Pool’s famous clown slide is gone, and in its place is the new Keister Coaster with artwork from Mickey shorts cartoons.
The newly designed slide is open for guests and looks like a must-do during a stay at BoardWalk Inn!
So if you’ve been waiting to stay at Disney’s BoardWalk in, you now have the opportunity to make a reservation! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is the next Disney World resort scheduled to reopen sometime in late July 2021.
As more and more Disney World resorts and restaurants continue to reopen, we’ll keep you updated! Stay tuned for the latest at the Disney Parks!
Another Disney World Resort is Reopening Soon!

I am glad the whole Boardwalk Inn will be opening. We are looking forward to staying at the Boardwalk Inn in February ‘22. We were supposed to go in November this year, but decided to add some extra days and had to change to February-which works for me because we will be in WDW for our 36th Anniversary which will is on Valentine’s Day. We have a split stay with Savanna View DVC 1 bedroom. Looking forward to a nice trip.
We are looking forward to staying at the Boardwalk Inn in February ‘22. We were supposed to go in November this year, but decided to add some extra days and had to change to February-which works for me because we will be in WDW for our 36th Anniversary and 40 years from our first date! It is on Valentine’s Day, and usually everyplace is booked up, so I am happy that we will be able to make a dining reservation ahead of time. We also have a split stay with Savanna View DVC 1 bedroom. Looking forward to a nice trip for just the 2 of us.
