We’re gearing up for fall and Halloween in the Orlando area, whether that’s at the Disney After Hours BOO Bash or Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights.
Tickets for BOO Bash already went on sale, and now it looks like you can buy tickets for Halloween Horror Nights as well…but there’s a catch!
Right now, Halloween Horror Nights tickets are for sale, but so far we have ONLY been able to find them available on the Universal Orlando Resort app! And they’re not easy to find. But that’s why we’re here!
You’ll first need to open the app and click on the three bars on the top left. Then, go to the “Things to Do” tab. From there, you’ll click on events and then scroll over to Halloween Horror Nights, where you can choose the “Buy Now” tab. From there, you can purchase general admission and other features, like tours and Express Pass. Tickets start at $70.99 but vary depending on date selected.
Universal hasn’t made any sort of official announcement about tickets on sale, and so far we haven’t seen tickets posted on their website. This morning, they streamed a very strange video on YouTube with over an hour of nothing but static. Is this some kind of haunted house reveal?
Halloween Horror Nights kicks off on September 3rd and runs through October 31st on select nights. Guests can save up to $52 on single-day event tickets when purchasing online. And longtime fans will be happy to know that Jack the Clown is returning as the face of this year’s event.
We’ll keep checking the video stream to see if we get any more details on the event, and we’ll keep checking the website to see if tickets show up there. Any idea of how to apply a preferred passholder discount? I can’t see a way to do it in the cart . . .
I reinstalled the Universal app but the “Buy Now” option isn’t there for me. Already have our hotel and airfare booked for September and our Premier Passes are good through mid-December so the tickets to HHN are all I am lacking.
Just checked right now and the “buy now” button says “sign up to receive details…”
