It’s a big day at Universal Orlando!
It’s the official opening day of Universal Islands of Adventure’s VelociCoaster attraction! Though we’ve already gotten the chance to try out the new ride during Passholder previews, we’re back today to see all of the festivities. So far, we’ve spotted filming for The Today Show and now, we’re checking out a confirmed, churro-based rumor!
You might remember that prior to the announcement of VelociCoaster, Universal was adamantly confirming that the giant rollercoaster construction in the middle of the park was, well, just a churro stand.
Today, during the grand opening, Universal team members were out in front of VelociCoaster handing out free churros!
It turns out it WAS just a churro stand all along!
