It’s been an interesting day today if you were visiting Magic Kingdom.
Earlier, we shared that Space Mountain was temporarily down and had to be evacuated. Now, it looks like if you are looking to come into or leave Magic Kingdom via Monorail, you may experience some technical difficulties!
Both Monorail lines — the resort line as well as the express line to the Transportation and Ticket Center — are currently down. At this time it is unclear exactly what caused the closure of both Monorail lines, or how long we expect them to remain down.
Currently, guests are being redirected to take the ferry boat back to the Transportation and Ticket Center if you traveled to Magic Kingdom by car.
We’ll keep an eye on the developments happening over at Magic Kingdom and we will let you know if we hear of any changes to the availability of the Monorail!
