We won’t lie — we’re a little sad that WandaVision has ended. We spent a lot of time obsessing over that show!

But The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will arrive just in time to get us over our Marvel blues.
And not only is the new series going to be a lot of fun, but it’s also going to lead into several other Marvel projects. The show’s head writer, Malcolm Spellman, told Entertainment Weekly that multiple Marvel projects will directly tie into what happens on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. He said, “I can think of three that I’m not allowed to talk about.”

Okay…now, we’re super intrigued! However, he wouldn’t name the three projects, so for now, we can only guess.

We do, however, know that the show comes after Captain America, aka Steve Rogers, handed his shield over to Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon in Avengers: Endgame. Director Kari Skogland said to Entertainment Weekly, “Our character has to come to terms with what that is. He has to decide what carrying the shield is going to be. And he very much has feelings about what that future for the shield is — as does Bucky.”

We can’t wait to see more — and you can bet we’ll be watching The Falcon and the Winter Soldier when it premieres on Disney+ on Friday.
