Today, Disneyland Resort officially announced its reopening date, and we got a TON of details about how the parks will operate!

We already knew that FastPass and MaxPass would be suspended, but we received more information on how Disney will be controlling capacity. Similar to Disney World, they will be using a theme park reservation system, and fireworks and parades will both be suspended. Also, we got official confirmation on exactly WHO will be able to visit the parks.
When the parks reopen on April 30th, only California residents will be allowed to visit, according to state guidelines. There is no current information on how long this restriction will be in place at this time.

Along with only California residents being allowed to visit at this time, the parks will also be limiting capacity.

We’ll make sure to let you know of any more restrictions or rules coming to the parks, so stay tuned to AllEars as the news continues to roll in. We look forward to giving you more details as they become available.

I’ve been to both Disneyland and Disney World. I like both parks and I think they both are magical. What I like about Disney World is that you can go to many different parks and still have a Disney experience, there’s a lot to choose from. At Disneyland it’s more small and intimate. You can see and do just about everything in one day at Magic Kingdom, if you know how to work the fast pass system that is!
