We cannot wait to see all the shows and movies that will be making their way to Disney+ soon!

But, we are especially hyped about the latest movie that has kicked off its filming progress ahead of its debut next year!
Production on the new live-action Peter Pan film has officially started today! Peter Pan and Wendy has began its principal photography in Vancouver with David Lowery directing and Jim Whitaker producing the film. Currently, it’s set to premiere on Disney+ in 2022.

Lowery stated that “Peter Pan has long been one of my favorite stories, partially because I’ve always resisted growing up, but also because of the heart, adventure and imagination that makes J.M. Barrie’s original tale so evergreen. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to redefine his iconic characters for a new generation – and even more excited that I get to do so with such an exceptional cast and crew.”

The movie stars Jude Law as Captain Hook; Jim Gaffigan as Smee; Yara Shahidi as Tinkerbell; Ever Anderson as Wendy; Alexander Molony as Peter Pan; Molly Parker as Mrs. Darling; Alan Tudyk as Mr. Darling; newcomers Joshua Pickering as John; Jacobi Jupe as Michael, and Alyssa Wapanatâhk as Tiger Lily. The film will be based on J.M. Barrie’s novel Peter and Wendy that also inspired Disney’s 1953 animated hit!

We can’t wait to see this film when it debuts! And, you can stay tuned with All Ears for all the Disney news you need to know!
