Currently, there are quite a few Disney movies in the works!
We’re planning ahead to watch movies like Cruella, Black Widow, and Luca later this year, and we’re super pumped to see Raya and the Last Dragon when it comes out this week! And if you’ve been gearing up for the live-action reboot of the Disney classic Pinocchio, then we’ve got some exciting casting news.
We’d previously heard that Tom Hanks would be playing the role of Gepetto in the upcoming film, but now some more characters have been cast! Cynthia Erivo has signed on to portray the Blue Fairy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has also joined the team in the role of Jiminy Crickett. Besides these two new additions, we’ll also have Benjamin Evan Ainsworth voicing Pinocchio, Keegan-Michael Key voicing Honest John, and Lorraine Bracco playing a new character, Sofia the Seagull.
