If you feel like Disney has been releasing a TON of updates recently, you’d be right.
From the announcement that the Magical Express will be discontinued in 2022 to ending the Disneyland Annual Passholder program, it’s been a whirlwind of news! And, a change that was set to occur on January 20th, 2021, has been delayed by Disney.
The BIG changes set for the Disney Giftcard Website have been pushed back to February 3rd, 2021.
Now, on February 2nd, Disney will be deleting account details, including logins and gift cards added, to prepare for the upgraded site that will launch the following day, February 3rd.
Once live, you can log into the new site using your existing Disney Account. This means that your username and password will now be the same across shopDisney, My Disney Experience, WaltDisneyWorld.com, Disneyland.com, and DisneyGiftCard.com.
If you haven’t done so, prior to February 3rd, be sure that you have access to your Disney Gift Cards (physically or digitally). You’ll need the full 16-digit account number and EAN to add your card to the new website. Then, on February 3rd, visit DisneyGiftCard.com to login using your existing Disney account information (or create a new account) and add gift card information into the My Cards section.
As a reminder, these changes will not impact the balance on Disney Gift Cards. We’ll keep you updated with information about the new changes as they are released!
