Last month, we saw actual Disney World fireworks for the first time since reopening! Granted, the fireworks that have returned to Magic Kingdom are small, low-level bursts during the holiday projection transitions on Cinderella Castle, and if you blink you might miss them!

Still, any fireworks happening at Disney World these days is truly special, which is why we wanted to let you know about some testing that happened last night!
Our friends over at Disney Food Blog received a video from a reader who got a glimpse at more testing that took place last night! They pulled some screenshots from that video to share, and we gotta say, it’s a pretty exciting sight!

This isn’t the first time fireworks testing has happened around Magic Kingdom. Last month, we were able to check out some late-night fireworks bursting high above the park! We aren’t sure what Disney is testing fireworks for at this time.

Regardless of what Disney is testing them for, we’ll definitely be keeping a close watch on the skies above Magic Kingdom for more fireworks!
Heading to Disney World next week for the holidays? Here’s where you can find Christmas Day meals!
Have you spotted any of the fireworks testing or the small bursts of fireworks at Magic Kingdom over the past few weeks? Let us know in the comments!

It would be awesome if Disney did some fireworks on new years Eve with the parks closed while guests are able to watch from their hotels
