New Year’s Eve is sure to be a strange one in Disney World this year.

We’ve been keeping an eye on the park hours on New Year’s Eve as well as hoping for any news of the offerings we can expect. Until today, we weren’t sure what the last day of 2020 would look like in Disney World, but now we have a better idea.
Today, Disney reached out to resort hotel guests via email about what to expect on New Year’s Eve and with confirmed park hours for the holiday.

First of all, Disney has confirmed that the currently posted park hours will be the final hours for New Year’s Eve. They are as follows:
- Magic Kingdom: 8AM – 11PM
- EPCOT: 10AM – 10PM
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 9AM – 9PM
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 7AM – 8PM
- Disney Springs: 10:00AM – 11:00PM

In the email, Disney also announced that there will be some special offerings for resort guests on New Year’s Eve. The Resort hotels will have “fun and festive activities for registered guests who will receive those details upon their arrival.”

The email notes, “In addition, pre-recorded fireworks and other holiday offerings will be available to stream on in-room televisions to help guests ring in the new year. A New Year’s Eve party basket designed for the occasion will be available for purchase as well; stay tuned for additional details on what’s inside.”

We’ll be waiting for more details about what to expect on New Year’s Eve. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest updates!

I really want to spend NYE in magic kingdom with my family, there will be a firework event this year? I want to know to make the reservation. If not, what any other things there are to do in there?
Hi Lily! Disney has stated that pre-recorded fireworks will be available on Resort hotel TVs. Currently, all fireworks are suspended at Disney World.
