Some rides at Disney World have such fantastic lines that we’d almost be fine just skipping the attraction part and…standing in line all day?!

Not exaclty, but we’d consider it for Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom, especially now that they’ve added a brand new queue video that’s so good we kinda want to eat popcorn while we watch it!
Strolling through the line at Kilimanjaro Safaris, it’s abundantly clear that a big part of Disney’s mission with this larger-than-life attraction — and with Animal Kingdom on the whole — is education and conservation.

It’s clear with signage and experiences throughout the park, and it’s especially clear with a video that’s been a queue fixture at Kilimanjaro Safaris, talking about things like preservation, ecology, and poaching.

Now there’s a new video that covers all that and more! With the added benefit of being a much higher quality video!

Played on screens throughout the line, the video features a friendly narrator discussing different topics, like nighttime photography and how to set your cameras for optimal twilight shots of the savanna’s most famed animals!

She also provides helpful tips for where to focus your attention on the safari (e.g. the shade!), and where to go on a self-guided walking trek in the park when you’re done!

Other important points include safety issues like staying inside the ride vehicle and monitoring children.

To really highlight Disney’s conservation efforts, there’s a section on that as well. By the time the video is over and it’s time to board the ride vehicle, we were primed and ready — and our photos have never looked better!
